Alvi's Drift, home to several multi award winning South African wines, won 17 Top 100/Double Platinum Awards at the 2022 National Wine Challenge (NWC).
Alvi's Drift Private Cellar achieved great heights at The National Wine Challenge (NWC) incorporating Top 100 SA Wines and finishing second overall in the Double Platinum category. The NWC, SA’s premier fine-wine-only wine competition, now in its 12th successful year, released the local wine industry’s first set of key results for 2022.
According to the organisers, a strong line-up of substantially more than six hundred fine-wine entries made for the most-competitive challenge ever this year. The wine quality was excellent and organisers and judges were well-pleased with this result.
The judging disciplines and protocols, the quality of judges themselves and the performance of the panels, together with rigorous audit procedures, sets the standard and is the accepted benchmark that others follow.

Alvi's Drift Reserve CVC has been awarded the Best in Class Winner
